My hometown's fog

" Describe my hometown's fog"

The fog of my homeland
Perhaps the fog can be show the most spiritual in my homeland . in late autumn or early winter ,when the sun spreads its rays on the homeland , the fog often drifts away like some phantom of gossamer or voile, revealing the tender green grass growing on the bare field . The verdant dells ,hillocks, and the riverside are so obscure and imaginable in the fog . now they are losing their charming veils , often leaving me some regrettable feelings .The outline of the mountains in the distance is fairily dark green, the mountains’ peaks are often veiled in the mist and wracks as if they are imbued with the water’s spirituality . When you go into the forest , the trees become so intimate , while the calyxes just open to the mysterious world .A pheasant comes leisurely out of a cluster of bracken and fern. A camellia tree is blooming its white flowers . The flowers are so poignantly exquisite . The petals will soon wither in the soil ,but now they are so dainty and pure , reminiscent of one’s puberty , love ,and happiness. I see some cottages in the distance .so remote ,so fantastic ,as if there were a vast ocean between I and the cottages .When the fog disappears I really see the cottages are so plain and shaggy , and so near .Only a stretch of field growing the rampant Chinese milk vetches on it . When the villagers get up in the early morning in autumn or winter ,they usually like to look at the fields and yonder . if the fog is thick and permeates into the attic room when you open the window , it often predict a sunny day .However, if it is a foggy day in spring , it often heralds the coming of a rain .
